Welcome to The HEART Foundation, which is a not-for-profit voluntary body dedicated to promote heart care, healthy living and to advance the knowledge amongst medical fraternity about the new advancements and information about various health and medical issues with specific reference to cardiac problems.The first event of the Trust is the National Heart Failure Summit which starts on 10th of July 2011 which will see the participation of leading cardiologists and medical practitioners at the Chandigarh Judicial Academy.
At the same time, on 9th July, The HEART Foundation has also instituted the Heart Beat Awards of Excellence, which includes a Lifetime Achievement Award to be given to a person for his contribution in any medical field. There would be two other Awards, one for social service, and another one for a sports person.
We shall welcome any suggestions or nominations for these Awards which may be sent to our jury for consideration on heartsummit@gmail.com.
